Media and Patreon

Jamie Quince-Starkey has a mission to make the planet a better place.

Media:

Jamie is currently in the process of trying to produce a documentary. Following his own journey of creating The Down To Earth Project Community, Allotment and Rambles.

A pilot episode has been created and was screened alongside a live Q&A; it was met with a great response from the audience.

Check out the full first episode in the video below, we hope you enjoy! I would also like to say a special thank you to Jason for producing the film. Jack O’Connell for making an appearance and supporting. Tim Shieff for appearing and supporting as well and Bethan from Nottingham Organic Garden for teaching, supporting and being an inspiration.

Get invovled with media content!

Jamie is currently looking for help with film making, production and content creating for upcoming media projects. If this is something you could help with, please get in touch.

Social media and online content

We intend to keep you up to date with everything that happens with DTE, as it happens.

Whether that be through InstagramFacebookYouTube or podcasts. If you’d like exclusive content, you can also support us by becoming a Patreon member.

Patreon membership:

Hi, Jamie here! Look, I don’t want to be that person pestering you to sign up to stuff and I hate to ask but as I’m sure you understand. These things take a lot of time and effort to create, especially when I want to ensure they’re of the best quality.

I’m aiming to reach as many people as possible with my message, using the highest grade of content possible. Empowering people to make real change to their own lives and understand their own connection with nature and how important it is, is mine and The Down To Earth’s utmost priority and responsibility.

On a slightly less serious note; I just really want to create some cool stuff for you to watch (whilst getting the DTE message across, of course)!

I know that it’s not possible for everyone to support us physically due to commitments, location etc. so another great way to show support for my mission and follow the journey online, is by becoming a Patreon member.

How your support will help

Becoming a member would grant me the ability to really fulfil the potential of The Down To Earth Project.

  • I’d be able to secure some amazing guests for DTE talks which would be fully documented and shared with Patreon members.
  • Guests could range from a professor in biodiversity to an urban market gardener. Basically someone who is making positive waves in a community aspect. Member support helps with creating high-quality content to share and spread the DTE message.

Benefits of being a Patreon

Of course, becoming a Patreon member comes with its perks! Subscribing for a small monthly fee will give you access to exclusive content, such as;

  • Video updates on how the community allotment is coming on.
  • Patreon exclusive monthly live Q&A’s with me.
  • Early access to YouTube content.
  • Extended cuts on interviews.
  • Regular blog posts on various topics.
  • Social media shoutouts.

Please note that this support is helping me (Jamie) as an individual directly, as I document The Down to Earth Project. It supports me in creating all of the content listed above to the best of my ability and allows me to spread the DTE message and be an inspirational role model. Thank you!

    Little Big Farm - Derby Film Festival

    Taken From Facebook 16th November 2019

    What a weekend already where do I start?

    So last night I hosted a film Q&A after we watched @thebiggestlittlefarm for @derbyfilmfest at @derbyquad thanks to @adamjmarsh for inviting me to do this. The movie was bloody brilliant, moving and inspirational.

    It gave me the chance to invite some special guests (friends of DTE) to open up a conversation that means alot to me. We spoke on the subject of Realistic Sustainability. We had @annedanbypeach from Derby University, @alexcruzwelch who works as an environmental marketing consultant in the capital and @danny_seeley of @lawsonsmarketgarden

    It meant so much for me to be able to bring these legends together. People who want real change and people who are setting them wheels in motion.

    Thanks for joining the @thedowntoearthproject for the weekend. You’ve been inspiring and an absolute pleasure to be around and I’ll definitely see you all soon.

    To see your ideas coming to life with so many people believing in you and supporting you whole heartedly is so nourishing for the soul. I don’t want to get too soppy but I basically just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you guys! This platform is what enabled me to create such an inspiring event, it went better than I could’ve hoped for our first of many, the discussions were top 👌🏻, the audience participation was on fire – it was just bloody brilliant! Roll on next month!! Massive thanks to our wonderful guests @sharpenyourspades
    @homegrown.garden
    @josmithdwt
    @charleyclee

    And of course @derbyquad @adamjmarsh for trusting in me and making it happen 💚🙌🏻 Have a great weekend!! Jamie x
